I chose to study at UQ because I believed UQ's mechanical engineering program was one of the best in Australia.

UQ's reputation is really good and its mechanical engineering program is one of the best in Australia. Mechanical engineering is a booming industry at the moment, so by the time I graduate, there will be a high demand for people with my qualifications.

Australia is a safe, open and friendly country. The people are really nice, and the weather is good as well. I think people here have a very positive attitude to life - they really enjoy their lives and that's another reason why I like it here. I feel at home and have made lots of friends from different countries.
