I do not exactly like it. Since I do not know anyone around. The system is good though more attention should be given to overseas students since they are away from home in an alien place and are used to different educational systems. My advice to students would be to not miss the induction week since that helps a lot to know people around.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

It should be easy enough if you get qualifying marks that fulfill the requirements of the University. I was helped by a representative back home to apply through the UCAS. The process was just applying through the UCAS, if you are accepted by the choice of your university; You can either apply for visa through the representatives or yourself. The visa process is not as painful. It really depends on the clarity of your documents. The travel experience has been great. I am looking forward to some very memorable times during university life.

I could not receive any scholarship since I applied very late, however if I had applied on time I could have received some amount of scholarship.

I am pursuing Law. There is a lot of reading so I like it. I have 10 hours of lecture as a round figure. I am very satisfied with teaching. The school facilities are up to the standards and technologically upgraded. I feel that my course is worth the money since I always wanted to do law. My advice to new students academically would be that they shall be regular with their studies and maintain a balance. I am very satisfied with the way the course is structured since its very systematic and the facilities cater to my course . As far as my area of study is concerned my school has done a great job.

The nearest city is Bristol and it is a very pretty place. NO they have not been too friendly and the locals are very snobbish and not very welcoming. As far as my experience goes I have only had fun shopping at the city centre though I do know of people who do engage in a few activities like caving and camping. I stay in a private accommodation and I have no idea about the price since its my family that handles the money issues. No I do not think so since it is very costly so it would not be able to supplement my living. I have no information since I have not cared enough to make myself known to any. I have not been enough to the student union but how many ever times I have been it is decent. There are like YUVA for Indian students it is a good source to socialize. Events are organized but by the end of it. The student has to take a step forward …the societies can only organize the events.
