I am having a good time at NCSU and at the same time I am learning a lot. The ambiance here is just perfect and I blend with the university in all aspects.
Nowadays all universities have an online system for applications, so does the Visa. Everything is given on the net step wise and easy to follow. There is no need for any help with the application process. The process is hassle free for visa too. My travel was pleasant.
My course work is very practical with stress on more of research orientation. The number of lecture hours is course specific though on an average 20 hours is spent per week on studies. The facilities are remarkable and the kind of exposure I get here is unmatched. The staff and professors are friendly and you can always see them nodding and saying a hi to every student passing by. The structure of the course is planned at the start of the semester and professors stick to it as much as possible.
The college has all facilities one can think of in terms of sporting facilities, leisurely activities and research labs. There are lots of student clubs and we have many fun times together through events on campus.
There are job fairs happening on campus for placements. There is an alumni association which graduated students can join.
