I love my experience, I get to meet knew people, I get to do it in an enjoying environment and I get to exercise my academic brain.

I got a pretty high TER and I ended getting into my second choice, so I think that it was pretty hard. I received no assistance; I did the entire process on my own. The selection process was very hard, I know that a lot of people had to use the ‘back door’ to get into the same degree as me. I don’t have a visa. The advice I would give is to try hard, work at it and enjoy your time there.

I am on HECS help which is great since I had to move to Adelaide and moved with little money and no job. The funding has been excellent.

My course is difficult and a lot of work it entailed. The best bits are working with other people. Study hours would be about 5 hours a night. My course is value for money although the facilities at the uni are not always good. E.G. the computers are offline a lot and the new software no one knows how to use.

I enjoy visiting home. The local people are not always friendly and it took a few months for me to meet and make friends. My accommodation is a hotel so the rent is high but the location is good although it could be closer to uni. It is possible but it is hard. I’m not part of the student union as far as I know. I have not enjoyed any societies or clubs, I don’t have the time.

I do believe they have increased and I am grateful for my degree, I know that when I finish I will not just have a part time job but a career. I will be keeping in touch with people from uni, they are important to me and have helped me grow.
