My advice to students would be to make the most of it!

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I took the TOEFL exam before applying for this course. I prepared for it on my own and did not attend any sort of coaching classes. I did not visit an educational counselor either. The Student Visa process was pretty basic and simple. I flew Virigin Atlantic, where I was entitled to the Students fare. I was allowed to carry some excess baggage as well. I landed at London Heathrow but there was no Meet and Greet service.

I did not receive a scholarship.

ratingYour study experience

I am happy with the way the program has been structured and am quite satisfied with the teaching process. The lecture halls are satisfactory, so is the Library.

ratingYour life experience

I chose to live in housing provided by the University and my experience there has been good. I did not take up a part time job. The night life in London is good but expensive. The social scene is pretty good too. The weather, however, is terrible and unpredictable. There is an International Student Society that handles special events through the year.

ratingJob prospects

LSE does have a placement cell and I think it is easy for International students to get jobs. Recruitments do take place, but are subject to recession. Honestly, I'm not very sure how difficult the work permit process is. There is an Alumni society in my University which is fairly active, but I'm not sure if they help with placements.
