NUS offers a fantastic program in the area of Engineering. The infrastructure in terms of library books and other facilities are amazing. It is good to study here and I would definitely recommend my institution to future students.
No examinations are required for admission to NUS. It was easy to get tickets to Singapore. I travelled by Tiger airways. It was a good airline. No student fare was offered. I landed at Singapore Changi airport. NUS is about 15Km from the airport. There was no excess baggage allowed. A welcome service was offered by the university.
A Tuition grant was offered to students.
The program structure was good. There is room for improvement for the lecturers at the university. Lecture halls are good and well designed for best acoustics. There are several libraries in campus.
The university provides on-campus accommodation. They provide single/double room accommodation and they are very good. Full sports facilities are also provided. Part time jobs are easy to find. Good social scene and good night life. The climate is decent but very humid. There is a international student society in university.
A student career center is at campus. Jobs are easy to get. A career fair is organized by the university. Companies come to campus and talk to students regarding the posts available in the company. About 20 global organizations attend the fair. It is easy to get a work permit after getting placed in a company. No alumni society in campus.
