It was a great overall experience. It was much more than research.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I did not have to write any exams as part of the selection process. The issues which were looked at were reference letters, resume and cover letter. I needed a visa. It was easy to get a visa. The tickets were arranged by the university. I flew American Airways. The service of the airline was good. I was not offered a student discount fare. I landed at San Francisco. The airport is 40 miles from the University. I did not face any immigration issues in the port of entry. The university offered a meet n greet at the airport.

I was happy with the way the program was structured. The professors and the staff in the university were excellent. I did not have to attend any lectures. The research environment was very good. Th library was good. It was a great overall learning experience.

I lived in the university's residential facility. It was good. The university's sports facilities were also very good. The social scene and the night life was good.
