I had been working in a hotel in China before coming to the UK. When my line manager in the hotel was promoted I immediately realised the importance of obtaining a qualification in hospitality management and chose to come to the UK for that. I also very much enjoyed the facilities at the College and the opportunity to supervise a team. I think that Scotland has a very rich hospitality culture and that it is a great place to gain work experience in the different areas of the industry.

I have now graduated with the HND and qualified for the Fresh Talent visa to start working at the Holiday Inn – Glasgow City West.
