Studying in Melbourne is the right choice. I love the night life here. I have been anticipating to study in Australia, and choosing this university from others is quite difficult. Alas, this university has become my only option after evaluating many areas.
I had faith that I will be chosen even though it is hard to comply to the criteria that is a must to apply into this university. I have family members staying in Melbourne, they helped me to ask the people in the university regarding the admission. When I came here, not much left for me to settle.
I have tried looking for scholarship that I can apply and the requirements are too high for me to achieve. So, I gave up hope trying. But for students that receive good results in studies can try to apply.
As an engineering students, there are many challenges in studies. I make sure my studies goals are met before I do other unimportant things. I prepare a study time table so that I know where I am heading in the semester. I won't be as knowledge now if I have not attended the lectures and workshop. The lecturers are great. But, communication skills can be improved.
I have met many people from different places. This place is very globalized. I enjoy going to church and attending conferences. To have faith in God is to have faith in ourselves. I manage my time well between studies, going to church, traveling and keeping good relationship with friends.
I think it will but I am not too sure about working in Australia. There are too much hassle. I might just go back to Malaysia after graduating.
