My program at the University of North Texas has been structured very well. I am really happy and the professors are also pretty good. We have all the facilities in the university. I recommend my university and dept for all future students.
I have written GRE & TOEFL as part of my admission into UNT.I did take coaching for the GRE exam. We need visa to enter into USA for masters. The visa interview was not so difficult. It was easy to get airline tickets and I used Jet Airways to fly down to USA. They dont have tickets that are only for students to be used at student fares. But they had some offers for students such as excess baggage. As Jet airways have flights only till Newark I had to change s flight at Newark. I did take the AA flight from Newark to Dallas but they did allow excess baggage. I dint face any immigration issues at the port of entry.
Some of the on campus jobs have tuition waivers .
I am happy with the program. My professors are good. We have all the facilities in the university.
I am living with my friends which in near to the campus. It is easy to find an on campus job in UNT. The weather in Texas is fine in winner but you might face problems in summer. Summer is too hot in Texas. We have international student society and they organize events during our festivals for international week as well as for homecoming.
They have a placement as well as the internship cell but placements into companies all depend on the capability of the student as well as the job requirements. There is also the alumni network in UNT which helps in placements.
