The past 4 years at JCU has been the most amazing and fulfilling experience Ive ever had. Not only did I get the chance to get a degree in a field which I am very passionate about, but I also had the opportunity to meet a lot of people from different parts of the world and formed great friendships.
I also appreciate the fact that the lecturers are very helpful. I always felt comfortable in approaching them. The small class sizes also meant more personal attention.
Aside from the studies itself, there are a lot of activities and clubs which students can engage in and socialise - swimming pools, fitness clubs, salsa dancing etc. Thursday night at the uni club is quite popular with students and it has been one of my favourite places during my first year of studies. I also lived on campus for a year and a half. Living on campus has been an added bonus to the wonderful times I have spent here at JCU.
