My net search for a research programme in immunology took me to JCU's comparative genomics centre. The state of the art infrastructure in CGC coupled with highly qualified professionals prompted me to pick this centre of JCU to further my research career.

I truly enjoyed the suburban location of this university, the multicultural student base, and its encouraging research atmosphere.

The recreational facilities on campus are also worth mentioning. On completion of my doctoral degree, I wish to be part of an R&D unit in a Pharmaceutical company. Townsville is a great town to be in. Its just big enough for almost everything you need, minus the traffic snarls and crowd; you will enjoy your time here!
