- University of New South Wales - UNSW, Australia
- PhD in Material Science and Engineering
- Postgraduate

As a postgraduate research student, I like the course except the occupational health and safety issues for students are not significantly considered. If you are international students and your background is Asian, you maybe considered not aware of how to protect your rights. The equipment and facility are reasonable available although not cutting edge.
It was easy for me to enroll in the course, but difficult to get a scholarship
Yes there are funding and scholarships available. You have to be outstanding in your academic records and good in research experiences to get scholarships if you are international students, however you can get scholarship less difficult if you are local student.
The study load is high for research students. We normally work after hours to complete the required tasks.
There are many social supports for international students. They are very interesting and provide lots of support for students. Unfortunately, I couldn't join the societies because I spent most of the time in doing research.
The job vacancy for what I am studying is quite low. I am eligible to stay in Australia, and I am working for a company to develop products.
