I think in this campus there are way too much classes and it is like 6 days of classes in a week for my course. Its just too much and it starts at 8.30am to 5pm. Don’t get me wrong, the college is really nice and the atmosphere is good, the lesson is easy to learn but the class is just too much. My advice for future students is get to know what you are applying and see if it does suits you, because the class is too much you may not be able to get a part time job.
I applied through an agent in Kenya and I think they charge a lot for the agency fee, but I am here now, so it was not a problem. I don’t know about other agent because I could not compare with any agent in Kenya. There was only one.
Well if you get a good job you can work and pay your fees.
With hospitality course, I think I love the practicality the most in my study because we get to know the basic banqueting, catering, preparing dining, we are also looking at the business side of hospitality which will be important for us to start our own business and all the hospitality manners.
I have not got any time to join any clubs with the timetables. As I mentioned earlier, the part time job will be very hard for me to find, because I will need to suit the time of working to my timetable at the college.
I think nursing is a good job placement for me because it pays high during the night shift and I only got night shift with all the classes. It’s a good paying job.
