I blossomed as a dancer in UK Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts

I choose to study dance in the UK because of the growth of the dance industry in Britain, and the exposure I hoped it would provide to a wide range of dance companies. There were also performance opportunities here that would not have been available had I stayed at home to study my degree.

I chose LIPA because they aim to train individual dancers who are versatile and able to work comfortably in numerous styles. I study ballet, jazz, contemporary, contact improvisation, street dance and tap dance, as well as gymnastics outside of my studies at LIPA.

The best thing in the UK are the numerous workshops with different companies, which have informed my training and helped me grow as a dancer. Coming from a background where arts are very limited, I have enjoyed being submerged in the different forms that are available in the UK, and making contacts for the future!
