Thanks to my experience at LSBU I am now studying at the Institute of Psychiatry, on the path to achieving my dreams o a doctorate in clinical Psychology. LSBU reassured me that I can become what I want to be, and more importantly, made me trust in my abilities.

My experience at the university was extremely rewarding, both academically and in other ways. I first got involved in the mentoring scheme when a tutor suggested it . It is a great way of putting what you are learning into practice and I think it definitely helped me to do well. For example, we did a unit on learning disabilities, and I had a mentee with autism. The course helped me relate to him and working with him really brought the theory to life.
