I believe that studying an Advanced Diploma at Martin College in Sydney has given me the skills and knowledge I need to be successful in today’s very fast paced and specialised business world.
I chose to study the at Martin College because I believed that it had the best resources and quality teachers.
The teachers are very helpful and make you feel really comfortable in class. I remember one incident with my teacher that demonstrates this. I was working on an assignment and was having a problem. I asked the teacher to help me. He came over to me and I described my problem to him but in my own language. He didn’t say anything, only – 'yes yes'. My friends asked me what I was doing, they said 'you are not in Nepal you are in Australia' Realising I had not been speaking in English I became nervous, but my teacher said 'that’s all right'. This made me realise how at home I felt at Martin College. I had forgotten where I was and thought I was studying in my home country
I am international student and it felt strange when I first arrived in Australia and started at Martin College. Then I met with staff and teachers and they treated me like family. They are very helpful in correcting my mistakes and giving me assistance whenever I needed it.
I was looking to build a solid foundation for a career in Business and Martin college has given me the skills and knowledge I needed to be successful.
