I had total fun at CMU. I studied my UG also here and continued my MS because I really liked the school, the professors and the atmosphere here. I made a lot of Indian friends and enjoyed my time I spent with them, playing, studying and eating out.
I did my UG here and then continued for my MS. I had applied to scholarships and was fortunate enough to get assistance. I did not require a visa because I studied in my home country.
I had to take 4 courses a semester and I spent nearly 40 hours per week on the 4 courses. The courses were all very informative and educative. The professors are student friendly and so is the staff. The facilities in this school are high-quality too.
The campus facilities are unmatched and have everything a student wants. The nearest city is DC which is a nice place to visit. The best part is playing racquet ball for hours together. The cost of accommodation varies from $500-$700 per month for a one bed room apartment close to campus. There are many clubs like the literary club, athletics etc for students to take part.
I have completed my studies and now will be working in the peace squad for a couple of years.
