Students should prepare for the hard work they have to put into the course before applying. This challenging program provides excellent training for entry to graduate medicine because you'll develop knowledge and skills in the modern biosciences and clinical sciences and their application to medicine, biomedical research and healthcare services.
For undergraduate admission, potential students will need to have successfully completed a secondary school or high school qualification, regarded as comparable to an Australian Year 12 award.

In year one, students would be introduced to the basic sciences underpinning biomedical science. In years two and three, we do our core studies which would explore more advanced aspects of the biomedical and clinical sciences. I have lots of opportunities to receive laboratory skills training and undertake additional courses throughout the course.
