I didn't appear for any exams. A VISA was required. The VISA interview was easy. Getting tickets were easy. I flew by Singapore airlines. No student fare was offered. I landed at San Francisco airport. The Institute was an hour drive from the airport. Baggage limit is 46 kgs and hand luggage is 7kgs. Excess baggages were not allowed. I didn't face any immigration issues at the airport. The university had arranged for meet and greet service at the airport.

The internship program was well structured. Faculty members were good and friendly. The research environment was good. IT was a good learning experience. I didn't attend any lectures.

Accommodation was provided by the University. Had access to library and other sport facilities at the university. Social scene, night life and weather were great.
