I am currently pursuing my Masters in Computer Science at UMKC. My course is interactive and demanding. The good thing about this university is that we have a great International community that is extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend my university to other international students.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

Both GRE and TOEFL are required and I took both of the exams. I prepared under the able guidance of my lecturers at my undergrad college. Suggestions of my senior students were helpful in getting the required F-1 visa. I landed first at Chicago and then flew to Kansas City. College was 45 mins drive from the airport. I flew through Lufthansa and they didnt offer me any special fares or rules.

Oncampus jobs are limited, but you can find a few. International community is extremely helpful. Weathers and the social scene in the city is awesome.

Placement cell is helpful in placing the students in good companies (industries). Alumni and the faculty do guide in making out your resumes and the applications processes for a job hunt.
