One of the few universities with a good selection of intercalated BSc options.

rating

Very competetive entry process dependent on grades and interest. Written application and interview to gain entry.

Good research facilities. Opportunity to work with and be taught by some very experienced teachers and professors. If you are keen, these opportunities extend beyond the end of the course. I was able to present my research at international levels and publish my work in journals.

Student union is great and has many varied sports/social clubs. The intercalated BSc lecutres/research allows ample time to socialise / work around a study schedule.

rating

Only worth while doing this if you come out with a 2:1 or 1:1. So I would advise students to consider this if you are willing to put the work in. It's not a year out to have fun and not do any study.
