GRE and TOEFL were required and Barrons should be enough for GRE. TOEFL does not need any special preparations. Getting a visa was tough in my case because of the PhD program. It took 20 odd days for the pink slip to get cleared. I flew Lufthansa and the journey was nice. No immigration issues I faced. I was allowed three piece because of student passenger.
