I came to Judge Business School after four years working in Germany. I decided to do an MBA in order to consolidate my finance knowledge and give myself a broader business foundation. So I chose the Cambridge MBA which broaden my skill set and take a huge jump in my career.
Through attending one of the on-campus careers presentations organised by the MBA Careers team, I was able to hear representatives from Barclays Global Investors and subsequently decided to apply for a position with them. Thanks to the MBA Careers teams support I was selected as one of only 30 candidates worldwide to be offered a position with Barclays Global Investors in London.
I really liked the people I met from Judge Business School and their collaborative approach to business education really appealed to me.
My previous job functions had included working as a fixed income sales analyst at Goldman Sachs and a financial application specialist and later team leader of training at Reuters. The Cambridge MBA allowed me to rapidly broaden my skill set and take a huge jump in my career, giving me the chance to work in one of the financial capitals of the world.
