I had a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. I was interested to do an internship program at the US and I enrolled at the University of Notre Dame. Studying abroad is really worth it .. it changes your perception about things completely.
The selection did not involve written exams or anything of that sort. I needed to send my resume. My visa was straight forward. My GRE Scores were Quantitative 800/800, Verbal 520/800, Analytical 4.0/6.0. I had completed Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.
The internship program was for a duration of 2 months. My supervisor was Dr. John E. Renaud. I was involved in the development of a Hybrid Cellular Automata methodology for structural synthesis. A new hybrid cellular Automata technique based on Karush Kuhn Tucker global optimality conditions had been developed.
Located in Indiana.
