I interned at the New Jersey Institute and had an excellent experience out there. I recommend others going for this internship to refresh the course work before going. Otherwise, the workload is very less.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I didnt have to take up any exams as part of my selection process. Only reference letters were required. My visa interview was very easy and posed no problems. I flew Jet Airways, it was easy to get the tickets, the service was good and extra baggage was allowed - but no student fare was offered. I landed at Newyork and it was nearly 10 miles from the institution. I faced immigration issues at the port of entry. The institution did not provide any Meet and Greet service.

It was a great program and I had a good mentor in Mr. A Chakraborty. The research environment was pretty good which made for a great learning experience. I did not attend any lectures. We had access to the library...it was pretty good.

The social life is good and the night life is also fun and exciting. Weather was fine.
