Advice: Look at the course guidelines
I did not take any tests before applying for this course. Neither did I join any coaching classes. The visa process was pretty smooth. I flew Air India where I was entitled to the Students fare. I was also allowed some excess baggage. London Heathrow is where I landed. There was a "Meet and greet" service at the airport
I have been granted a scholarship for my studies. I do not have any part-time job here.
I am happy with the way my program has been structured. In terms of teaching as well, I am satisfied. The lecture Halls here are very decent. The Library is excellent!
I live in housing provided by the University, but I find that it is a bit more expensive than some other cities in the UK. There's hardly any night life here, and there isn't much of a social scene either. The weather is very wet! It rains a lot. The University has an International Student society that organizes special events called CUSU activities.
The University does have a placement cell and Campus recruitments do take place. I would say that it is easy for International students to get jobs. However, the work permit process, I've heard is not very easy. While there is an active alumni network at the University, I don't think they help with placements as such.
Located in Central England.
