I'm really glad that I've had this chance to do that. It's a great way to learn about others and yourself! I have gained so much independence. My family came to visit me and they were amazed at my ability to get around the city. Prior to coming to London, I would have seriously doubted my ability to find my way around an empty box.

Queen Mary is the perfect combination of being a campus University, while being in London. It took only a week to get settled into my flat and develop a routine. I can't believe how quickly Queen Mary felt like home. I live on campus in a flat with four flatmates. We are all completely different in terms of background, fields of study and living habits; yet we get along wonderfully. Besides my love of British history, I wanted to come to London because of its active social scene - the theatre, clubs, museums and pubs. The availability of activities is endless and my friends and I never lack for things to do.
