The University of Sydney is famous for its long standing commitment to Education, and it gained a lot of recognition thanks to its high standard. I chose this University thanks to the recommendation of one of my parents' friends.
The application process is a bit difficult for me. It required me to have IELTS of 6.5 whereas other Uni just required 6. So I had to take IELTS twice to be accepted.
I did not have any scholarships. It was very hard for international student to have scholarship. The tuition fee is high in this Uni.
The course was up to my expectation. I spent 35 hours to study each week. I got the chance to learn from the best lecturers in the area. My tutors were very funny and easy to get well with.
Living in Sydney is one of the best parts of my life. I got to learn how to cook for myself to save money, which was really fun. Accomodation was very expensive and hard to find. It was very easy to find part time job. I did not join any clubs or societies.
My job prospect has increased a lot thanks to my study at USyd. I will be keeping in touch with other fellows. I am working as a softward engineer for a company in Hongkong.
