I am happy after the completion of my course but I feel that at the postgraduate level the research courses provide better knowledge and experience. The facilities at the university are quite good. It is a good university and International students can apply here.
I wrote IELTS as a part of admission requirement. I took coaching from a private consultant. I did consult an educational consultant which helped with my SOP and all other formalities regarding my admission. I required a visa, student visa is easy if your documentation is well. During the interview they dont ask as such but just take your photo and finger prints. It was easy to get tickets. I took it from flight shop and they offered a students discount as well. Heathrow airport is far away from Nottingham. I had to make my own way there.
I am happy after the completion of my course but I feel that at the postgraduate level the research courses provide better knowledge and experience. The lecture halls are good.
I stayed in a university accommodation, it was not very good. Weather is cold but April onwards it is good. Students should learn some cooking I feel. Part time jobs are easy to get and it earns fairly well. Social life is good in Nottingham city. There are many pubs and hang out spots for students, and in most of the shops students can take student discount as well on their ID card. There are many international societies. Good sports facilities at the University but you have to pay for it, it is not included in the fees.
It has an employment store which helps in part time jobs, but career fairs are there for guiding for placement.
Located in Central England.
