The program at the university of California was very good. The understanding and helpful attitude of the professors made it even better. I would recommend my University to future students.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I took up GRE and TOEFL, had coaching for both, but did not use cousellors. F1 visa was needed. The visa interview was great, smooth and easy. Travel agent got tickets, I flew Lufthansa. No student fair but group booking discounts were there. Landed at Los Angeles Int Airport. Its 45 mins by shuttle to the institution. 2 baggage + laptop bag + cabin bag was the normal baggage rules. Excess baggage was heavily charged. No immigration issues. Seniors came to pick me up at airport.

I really liked the program. It catered to the latest in the field and was pretty interesting. Teaching was really good. I found the professors to be quite supportive of international students. Library is rich.

I stayed at Off campus accommodation. Lot of sports going around on campus. Part time jobs are easy to get.

The university organises job fairs. There is equal opportunity for every student. Alumni association are active and have link up with organizations.
