My advise to students will be to study hard! Its not easy competition. NUS provides all the facilities, its really upto the students to work hard. But, one can also have a lot of fun in Singapore.

I did not have to write any exams as part of my admission process, but I did give the SATs and my results proved to be of my advantage during the NUS admission process. I landed in Singapore and that is 30 mins form my institution. The flight was really comfortable and easy experience. No excess baggage was allowed. I did not face any immigration issues. No meet and greet.

The program at NUS was pretty good. My professors are fine. The lecture halls are BIG. We have 2-3 pretty big libraries.

There are superb hostels provided by the uni accommodation.. great, friendly…Its pretty easy for international students to get part time jobs. We enjoy a good nightlife...nice weather… warm/rainy. There are so many societies, and they organize loads of Indian festivals… there are events practically everyday.

There is a placement cell here. Its easy for international students to get jobs. There are many many career fairs. Work permit is very easy here. We have a pretty active alumni…but I don’t think it really helps with placements.
