This is a very wonderful university, one of the oldest universities in the world. The most important advice I could give to you is that try hard to study and the degree that you get from your studies will definitely help you a lot in your future career.
The selection process is very hard for me. Journalism requires 7 for IELTS, so it is very hard for me because my English language skills are not good enough. The selection process requires students to have a very good English background. In order to have a stress-free application and enrolment process, you need to prepare enough documents to lodge with the admin staff and the Immigration people to get your visa approved.
I am receiving Ausaid scholarship at the moment. I found the information on the Uni's website. Ausiad scholarship aims to help outstanding international students from developing countries to pursue higher education in Australia.
The Journalism course is very tough and I think I spend about 40 hours to study each week. The lecturers and tutors are very helpful to me as an international student. I recieve all kinds of support that I needed. The course is very value for money.
Sydney is very big city, and I like the vibrant atmosphere where the international students can enjoy a lof of savoury food and musial performance from many countries. It has been easy to find part time job, as the big city is a place for tourism. I joined some clubs and societies organized by the Student Union, but notreally into it.
I am still studying, and I think my studies will lead me to better position once I come back to my home country.
