Overall, this was a good experience though I do admit, more challenging than I initially anticipated!! It was a good investment to my legal career but in saying that, the course work was quite hard and I am glad it is over!

I found the application process harder than expected espicially as I wasnt living in australia at the time. I suggest that if you are worried about sending important documents through mail you use certified post!!

There are a few scholarships available, I should know - I spent quite a bit of time purseing the website for this information. I wasnt successful, unfortunetly, but I definately do recommend others research these options thoroughly. I think the trick with scholarships is that you need to be early, and of course, very prepared!

the study experience was all really good but as I mentioned earlier, the course content was more challenging than I originaly thought. Nevertheless, there was a strong teaching presence and if we needed, lecturers were very happy for us to ask questions

the life experience part to this experience was easily the best! I was very lucky, I was able to have made heaps of friends - all good friends- and explore the beautiful countryside that is Tasmania. It is a small state in Australia but a beautiful state at that. Lots of fresh air and open spaces. part time work is easy to find but I admit, I am a bit picky and didnt want to work outside my field.

I do think that my job prospects have easily improved, perhaps doubled, as a result of this course. However, now I am not so sure that I would like to work in this area of law, I may want to branch out into theoretical study. In saying this, however, I'm sure that this course was not for waste and all qualifications are advantageous, right?
