I am enjoying my course because I am studying very useful units for my future career and my life as well. Curtin University of Technology is possibly the biggest community of international students in WA and good rank university in Australia.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

Basically, the university in Australia have similar requirement for their International Students. You should meet the IELTS requirement and also your academic qualification based on the course you will take such as bachelor, master or PhD. You have to fill the form of application clearly and read it and check it carefully before you complete and submit the form.

ratingFunding and scholarships

There are many scholarships to study in Australia. Firstly from Government of Australia such as AusAid, ALA and etc. Secondly, from Indonesian Government such as Depkominfo, Dikti, ESDM, Sampoerna, PLN and etc. I found that from the internet websites. We should manage our budget and after that we can select appropriate options for our cost of living based on our budget. For example : location of our rental house and should we take part time job or not and etc.

ratingYour study experience

My course is Postgraduate or Master's Degree of Finance for 1.5 years. I am studying for about 9 hours per day or more. It means that approximately more than 60 hours per week. My lecturers are smart, nice, and friendly. They are very helpful to assist my for my subjects and they allocate their time for consultation in each week for students. Indeed, the cost of my course is so expensive especially for International Students.

The facilities in my university is affordable for me to doing my subject and very useful such as library, computer, internet access and special assistance for international student at the Learning Centre. Indeed, I have many friends both International Students and local. My accomodation is nice place and the rate is quite cheap. It is quite easy to find part-time job, especially you have many friends or colleague that can be your referee. Curtin Student Guild is very helpful and very useful for students especially International Students because as a member they offered us many advantages such as discount for bookshop, tickets for some events and etc. They also have alot of activities as well. I have no idea about the club or society because I am a postgradute student and I did not involve in any club or society.

Yes, I do. I hope that my study is useful for my career and my future. Yes, I will and I think so, because it is very important for me to keep in touch with fellow alumni not only for relationship but also if one day we need information from them. Yes, indeed. We have CUPSA or Curtin University Postgraduate Student Association. I have plan to go back to my country to work in my company or I will resign and find another job. Actually, I want to find a good job in Australia and work here for better life.
