I am enjoying my life here in Melbourne as there are lot of different people from different countries. I am also enjoying my classes and there is also a lot of interaction between the teachers and the students. I would advise the students that rather than coming to Melbourne, there should go to places such as PERTH and ADELAIDE as in Melbourne there are too many student and so as result of that there are less opportunities.
The admission in this tafe was pretty easy as i was helped by my friends. And for my visa i went to the Australian Embassy in India by making an appointment and it was quite easy.
I dont have any scholarship.
I am studying diploma in community welfare, the course is alright. But i am not really interested in this course as i wanted to study something else. My best bits regarding this course is that you do not have to stress regarding your studies. I also like the presentation skill of the tutors. The lectures are good but too long and the tutors are good and co-operative.
We have a library accomodation facilities, student services, counselling, weekend trips etc. I am living with friends in a shared accomodatoin so it is pretty cheap. It was easy getting a job, I have no idea about the student union and i have not joined any clubs.
I dont think my employment prospects have increased as a result of my study, i have a feeling that i will not get a good job.
