Uni of Queensland is a wonderful University. The most important advice I think I would give to prospective international students is that try your best and you will be successful.
The selection process is very easy and quick for me. Just prepare all necessary documents and you will be ready to go.
I applied for some sort of scholarships and got part of my tuition covered. I looked up the University's website and I applied for it. Luckily I got some, you can try some by trying your luck.
Languages have always been a passion in my life. I spent 30 hours study each week. I think the lecturers and tutors are very nice, and I received all the support that I needed. The course is worth for money and for the efforts spent.
My life experience has been wonderful. The University facilities are good. The fellow students and locals are very friendly. Accommodation is good. It was very easy to find a part time job in a restaurant. The Student Union was good too.
I am working as a teacher of English in Taiwan. I enjoyed it so much, and I believe it is thanks to my studies at UQ. I did not join any alumni club.
