NAFA was a great experience; it made a big impact on my life. I love how quickly I received my degree and feel I will be able to go far in my career. I was impressed and liked NAFA because they do not use a rubber stamp teaching program as so many other schools do! They consider the talent, ability, and skill level of each individual. I wanted to get my career going in the right direction and knew that I needed to get a recognised qualification.NAFA had the answer; I signed up to their MA Contemporary Practice and made good progress. I learned much more that I ever expected to. The fact that I could learn at my own pace was extremely helpful. If I couldn't grasp something, I just kept at it, with the help of my competent supervisors, until I understood it. Then I moved on to the next module, but only when I was ready to do so. It would be my pleasure to recommend NAFA to anyone, especially to international students, who really do wish to learn "new" discoveries and improve. To students considering studying abroad, I would tell them that it creates new opportunities to learn another culture that you couldn't have by staying home. My advice would be to come with an open mind; you must be open to new ideas and experiences. You have to be able to leave part of yourself and your culture behind but that doesn't mean losing it. I have the opportunity to share mine everyday, but if I were not open minded, I would not be able to learn about other cultures. I live near students from all over the world and I love that. If you want to come here and only eat food from your home country and only want to speak in your native language, you might as well stay home because you will not experience what studying abroad has to offer. My goal is to succeed and move on to my future career. It is important to me that I make a life for myself on my own.
