I completed my MS course in 2004. The MS course at the University of Alabama Huntsville requires a total of 33 credit hours where 1 course is 3 credit hours. If one takes 4 courses per semester then the course can be completed in1 ½ years. The School is located in the Cummings Research Park which is one of the best research facilities for System Programming. For system programming this school is better than NCSU because the research Triangle park is a thing of the past and very little research is carried out there in the area of systems programming. The University of Alabama Huntsville is also better than UKANS Lawrence.
This happened in 2002. I wished the officer. He then asked me to call the gentleman who had just left. I went and called him. The office gave him his I 20 back. The officer apologized to me for making me standing in queue for a long time. I told him it was ok. He then asked me to give him my folder. He first looked at my GRE scores ? I had sent my scores twice. He asked me why I had applied to a lot of universities (It had 11 entries). I told him that I had got a communication error when I faxed and had to fax it twice. He chuckled and exclaimed that it must have hurt. He then went on to ask me about Uni of Alabma Huntsville and asked me how it was better than the other unis. I gave him the details. He then appreciated my quants and annals scores. He then asked me if I ever had a back log, I said I never had an arrear. He then pointed out that my I 20 said that I have to stay in the US for 3+ 1 years. I explained that I can finish it in 1 ½ years. He then looked at my financials and started throwing documents towards me. I thought it would be rejected, But he gave me a wicked smile and gave me the students copy and the token. He then exclaimed that it was a pity that the other universities didn?t recognize me. I was flabbergasted I had never told him that was rejected by the other universities. I then thanked him and he asked me to pay the fees. GRE should be taken.
A student would need 36k$ for 2 years
