I don't really enjoy my university, i think it sucks! The advice that i 'd give to future students is: Even if you really interested in one course, doesn't mean you will enjoy it studying overseas. If you are a person who worries about things all the time, then don't go to uni!
It wasn't too hard to get into Queensland University of Technology, as i've got a bachelor degree from James Cook University plus your GPA has to be over 4.5 or 5, not so sure. I went to an agent, they prepared all the paper work for me including the application for the visa stuff which is great, and they're all free. So why not use an agent?
I haven't heard about scholarships at QUT. I don't have one and I pay my own fees.
It's all about advertising. Some contents are overlapping , and i think it's a bit of wasting time. The thing that i like the most is some subjects are really practical, you really get to know what's going on in that industry, what you should be doing and what skills you need to learn for that industry. I study approx. 7 or 8 hrs a week.
Queensland University of Technology has got swimming pools, libraries, tennis ground, computer labs (they've got some Mac PCs as well, good for those ipod users). The thing that i enjoy living in Brisbane is that the people are friendly , that's why i moved from Sydney to Brisbane. I wouldn't say it's hard or it's easy to find a job, it really depends on your English level, what kind of job you looking for, and your personal relevant experience.
No, i totally don't think that my job prospects have increased as a result of my studies! If i want to get a job here, then it's better to have some experience. But If i go back to China, then i think it ll be easier if i have a master degree.
