The exposure we get in US is more than what we have in India and I have an option to go for the best. I had applied in 6 colleges-UMR, GMU, NYIT, SIUE, OSU and UMKC and got admits from 3 of them-UMR, GMU and NYIT. Naturally I selected UMR. I wanted to explore more things abt my area of interest which is DSP.

I made it clear to the VO that I want to come back join some reputed college as an assistant professor and impart my knowledge to them. Sometimes the VOs ask you tricky questions like if you want to do ur PhD after MS. Just make sure u tell them that u want to get back to India. On the whole, a pretty easy interview.
