The difference between education in India and the USA are: The research facilities available in the US are better; the programs offered there are more practical and industry oriented. The MS programs in the US have good CAD/CAM, software development labs, simulation labs etc. This makes the study experience more enriching.

I had done my MCA in India before I went to Minnesota. I felt that my educational needs were completely not quenched with my MCA degree. That was the main reason behind my applying to an MS degree.
