I am originally from Canada, there were not enough spaces for me to study Medical Science in Canada, so I decided to come to Sydney to fullfil my dreams. I nearly completed my studies and I am happy that I made the right choice.
The selection process was pretty tough for Medicine. But thanks to my good results at high school, I was accepted.
The tuition fee for Medicine is very very very expensive, and it requires a lot of hard work to complete the course. My parents were well off enough to pay for my tuition fees.
The course was value for money in the end. I have access to the best facilties and I really enjoyed it. It was tough though, all through the years. The lecturers and tutors are very understanding. Most of them are very nice to students, especially international students. But there are not many international students though. It was very hard for international students to get into the course.
The uni facilties are very high standard. I enjoyed the local area and the CBD in Sydney so much. The accommodation was very expensive but it was close to Uni. As I am nearly at the end of my course, I you just spend most of my time doing internship in hospitals. I did not have time to do part time work, just concentrated on my study.
Still at the last semester. I will keep in touch with other friends in the course.
