Having completed my MBBS, I pursued my Masters in M.P.H. with concentration in Health education. I had applied to 5 schools UTHSC-HOUSTON, SDSU, TAMU, TULANE and WKU. Though I got a scholarship at the WKU, I selected Texas as it had been ranked no. 1 in Doctoral public health-which was my area of specialisation.

I got my visa without any issues. Sometimes VOs can ask tricky questions, be alert and answer to the point. I recollect my VO asking me if was goin to complete my MD and MPH (he was checkin my intention), I assured him that I was only going for my MPH.

I did not get scholarship from Texas, my parents and grandparents funded me.

My program was very interesting. I learnt a lot during my course. I'll definitely recommend the university for the quality education I received.
