Hi! I completed my Masters in Electrical Engineering at the New Mexico State University. It was a wonderful experience for me.
The visa interview was smooth. Keep all your documents in order and do read up a bit abt the course and the university-The VO's love to grill you abt the program ! Maintain eye contact and remain cool.
My parents sponsored my education as I did not get any aid from the university.
At NMSU there are two recognized centers of excellence in Electric Utility Management and Telemetering and Telecommunications and these are unique to our program. This helped me cherish my program, another fact was the superb faculty, many of whom were internationally-recognized, who had an open door policy where students were encouraged to drop in outside of formal class. On the whole a great experience and will definitely recommend it to future students.
A variety of programs and services are offered by the uni to assist you in locating employment. Maintain networking contacts to land good jobs.
