I had a great time doing my MS at UIC. Please take into account ur field of specialisation and interest before selecting the university.
My visa was issued at the Mumbai consulate. After I completed my UG, for a whole year I prepared for the GRE, TOEFL and was brushing up my fundas. My advice to students is to be cool and remember any inspirational song to boost up the confidence. Also answer the 1st and 2nd questions with confidence and in a polite manner because the first impression is the last impression. All the best !
I did not receive any scholarship and my family funded my education, I'd also taken an educational loan.
The university has got state of the art facilities. The faculty are also highly motivated and go out of their way to help the students. On the whole, I got a lot out of the program.
Fairly good. Maintain good networking contacts to land the right jobs.
