Hi Friends ! I did my Masters at Suny Binghamton. I basically wanted a university which had excellent research facilities. I had contacted the dean and a few profs, Dr. Shihari, Dr. Daryl Santos head of smartlab and Dr. Purush Damodaran research in operations research. Their research areas were similar to my line of interest and it really motivated me to get into Suny Binghamton.

I got my visa without any issues. Be prepared with all the documents and if you are going to be self funded take extra care with the bank statements. Try to assure the VO of your intentions to get back to India after the program, else you may get rejected as a PI. All the best.
