The quality of education is really good in the US. Had also spoken to my seniors and they encouraged me to apply at Florida…the profs were expert in my field of specialization. My experience abroad has been good and I would recommend my university and department to other Indian students.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

My GRE and TOEFL scores are 1490 -710-V,780-Q, 3.5-A and 280,4.5 AGRE-720,63%. My visa interview did not actually proceed in the way I would have liked it to go. What I can say is I fumbled, made a big mistake , was tired and had a look far from confident BUT had all my credentials in order. So if you have everything covered and can prepare a few Q&A's b4hand, I dont think they will cause any hurdles. It took a whole of 2 minute without him checking a single document.

I got full aid < tuition waiver+stipend >. I was really happy about this ‘coz I could really focus on my research and not bother about the financial problems.

Their cutting-edge research was enriching and informing. Classroom teaching was good with the profs paying individual attention…I had a wonderful rapport with most of the faculty.
