I completed my Masters at UIC. A few of my seniors at the university recommended UIC. I wanted to take up a job as a Network Security Administrator and my program helped me achieve it.
My Scores at the time of applying for my visa were GRE 1040 and TOEFL 257. My Acads were 72%. There were no issues regarding my visa process...got it easily.
My parents funded my education entirely...no scholarships.
Fee structure was pretty expensive, but I think that great facilities offered by the dept and the superb faculty made it worth while.
The university does assist UIC students in career planning. With good grades one can make it.
Located in Idaho and Illinois.
