My course in Accounting & Finance is comprehensive. The projects/assignments I had were very relevant to real life scenarios. It gives me a picture of the expectations of the job scope and knowledge on the application. Lecturers/tutors are always there to help me during tutorials or during their consultation time. There are also library resources available to enhance the learning process. I would definitely agree my course is value for money. Besides accounting/finance units, we are also taught units in law, management which provides a wider picture.

Murdoch has a really cool library and nice cafes. Murdoch is only 20 minutes drive to the Perth city and located close to Freo with direct bus services. I do like my local area, there are facilities (cafes, supermarket, food courts) within walking distance. The only concern is that most shops closed early but I pretty much get used to it. I did not join any student union or clubs except for Murdoch gym.

I think accounting/finance sector are always in demand so job prospects should be looking good.
